#Didyoukmow Music is known to activate

our entire brain ?

Let’s Deep Dive ----

🧠 How does music enter the brain?

+ Music originates as a form of vibrations, which found sound waves as they spread across the air.

+ The outer ear "catches" the sound that is being emitted and directs them into the ear, where they meet the eardrum before passing into the middle ear.

+ Three tiny bones in the middle ear amplify the sound, making the sound waves greater before they enter the inner ear

+ Inside the inner ear, sound waves enter the fluid-filled cochlea, which consequently vibrates.

+ The movement of fluid stimulates tiny nerve cells, which convert the vibrations into electrical signals

+ The auditory nerve transmits these impulses to the brain, where they are intercepted as sound.

🧠Parts of the brain that are affected by music:

+Certain specific areas of the brain are affected by different qualities of music, and process different sound waves uniquely.

+ Tonality: The prefrontal cortex, temporal lobe, and cerebellum

+ Rhythm: Left frontal cortex, left parietal cortex, and the right cerebellum

+ Lyrics: Wernicke's area, Broca's area, visual cortex, and the motor cortex

🧠Brainwaves and Emotions:

+ Specific brainwaves are correlated to unique movements and emotions - matching music with brainwaves may be able to induce a certain state of mind in any person. Playing music at a certain frequency can result in different emotions and/or actions for the listener through the engagement of certain brainwaves.

🧠Gamma Waves:

+ Provide the brain's optimal frequency and function

+ Associated with increased compassion and a heightened sense of reality

+ Serves as a binding mechanism for all parts of the brain and increases mental abilities

🧠Beta Waves:

+ Low beta waves increase concentration and alertness

+ High beta waves result in increased stress, agitation, and anxiety

🧠Alpha Waves:

+ Occur during relaxation and daydreams

Provide an effortless state of consciousness (very relaxing).

Our advice:

1. Listen To music.

2. Find your vibe.

3. Ride your wave. 🌊
